This story was compiled by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, librarians and phylosophers from Hanau, Hessen, Germany. Their first publication was in 1812, 200 years ago, in two volumes called “Children’s and Household Tales” or “Kinder und Hausmärchen”.

The gracefully adapted text by Pastora Faval, united with the marvelous illustrations of Christiane Drapela, and the musicalization of Martín Benavides inspired on the theme “Ein Männlein Steht Im Walde” will make this Hansel&Gretel a special version for those who are not satisfied only with reading, but have to live the story.
