The much anticipated CATEGORIES have arrived!
In response to user feedback, we’re excited to offer the next generation of visual Grocery List creation now with category sorting options.
Are you tired of typing (and retyping) names of products you purchase repeatedly? Are you a visual person who’s looking for a simple and fast shopping tool which you can customize to your favorite store?
With over 170 predefined product icons and the ability to add new products with custom photo icons, creating shopping lists is a breeze with GroceryPro! Simply add a list and start tapping products to indicate the number of each item you wish to purchase. Save more time; sort your products view by assigning categories to each item; be it aisles at your grocer or shelves in your fridge, organizing your list will help you get through the store quicker and more efficiently.
Make your lists specific to a store, occasion or recipe; who hasn’t done special shopping for “Little Johnny’s Birthday” or how about “Grandma’s Banana Bread?” Wouldn’t it be awesome to have all the needed ingredients in a convenient little list? Keep your lists organized via Sort by Date and Sort by Name functions and share them with friends and family via email any time you want.
Love our product icons, but prefer to change their names to match your individual tastes? No problem; rename function is here! Now, our “milk” can be your “2% milk” and our “cheese” can be your “swiss.” We’ve even considered all your favorite brands! Never again will you come home from shopping, only to learn you bought the wrong flavor of spaghetti sauce. With GroceryPro’s unique icon feature, just take a picture with your phone and import it to your product list. Next time, you’ll have a visual reminder of exactly which type to buy. And for those added products which just can’t be pictured, we’ve created a default brown paper bag icon; now, any and ALL items can be added once to your database and available for future use!
As you shop, your grocery list is organized by the category order you selected in Edit Categories dialog; it’s like having a road map to guide you through the aisles. Simply tap products in your list to indicate they’ve been purchased. Then, elect to view or hide purchased items or Swipe to delete them from your list completely. Just remembered you have something else to pick up? Tap Edit and you’re taken to the product grid view where you can select additional items or use search to dynamically display desired products as you type. From here, you can also long press products to activate Remove One, Remove All, Rename, Delete, Assign (a Category) and Change Icon functions; the possibilities are endless!
