Think + Act + Share = Change

An award-winning environmental education project by Green Cross Australia.

Green Lane Diary is an Australian curriculum linked program designed by environmental educators to help 8-13 year old children become aware of the stresses our planet faces and learn how sustainable living can make a difference.

The magazine includes lots of playful, interactive elements, videos, fast facts, cartoons and interesting articles to make learning fun.

Young people explore topics such as water, waste, energy and biodiversity. They are encouraged to keep a diary or a blog about their discoveries, turn their ideas into action, start green projects and share with everyone what they are doing.

The iPad magazine complements www.greenlanediary.org, winner of the Best Education Website award in the 2010 Australian Web Awards.

Feedback from the project:

Thanks to Green Cross Australia for creating such an excellent resource for kids and teachers alike - this will facilitate real change and maybe even shift the values of the next generation! We can all make a difference to help care for our natural world and the Green Lane Diary will help a whole new bunch of kids to realize that! :) Teacher, Sydney

My students just love the cartoons and the content is brilliant! Thanks for producing such a fabulous resource that will stay with them forever!
