Application Description
Great Escapes: Moray is a guide to Elgin and Lossiemouth and the surrounding area created by local schools and community volunteers.
The 20 map points were selected and researched by the local community in Moray, and highlight the natural, industrial and cultural heritage of the region. The archive film, images, maps, and documents featured on the app are from the NLS collections, and also from local libraries, archives, and museum collections in Moray.
Great Escapes: Moray is the result of a project developed by the National Library of Scotland (NLS), with assistance from the Crerar Hotels Trust. The project was also supported by Elgin Library Services. The app was designed and developed by Bluemungus (@bluemungus).
