Everyone has photos of the Grand Canyon from the rim - Grand Canyon Campsites lets you experience the depths of Grand Canyon from your iPad and iPhone.

App Features:
• Smooth scrolling through photos of more than 250 campsites from Lee’s Ferry at river mile 0.0 to Pierce Ferry at river mile 280.5.
• A high speed scrub-bar to quickly position yourself at any point along the river.
• A high resolution satellite image of each campsite. Pan and zoom the satellite photo to explore the canyon and river features surrounding each campsite.
• A map of all campsites marked with pins; touch a pin to see a photo of that campsite. Touch a photo of any camp to see where that campsite is located on the map.
• Create a plan for your next Grand Canyon raft trip. Select the camps you want to stay at and Grand Canyon Campsites shows you the daily mileage between each camp on the dates and layover days you choose. Add and remove campsites until your itinerary is perfect. Email the campsite plan to yourself or your friends from within the app.
• A photo gallery of what 'life at the bottom’ is like - views from and to some of the most amazing campsites, including gorgeous river scenery and camp-life.

Grand Canyon Campsites can be used while you’re on the river, outside cellular coverage. All campsite photos are contained within the iPhone version of the app. The higher resolution photos for the iPad are downloaded in the background and saved on the iPad as you view each camp when you’re connected to Wi-Fi (or optionally, cellular) networks. Once you’ve downloaded photos of the campsites you’re interested in, your iPad can serve you on the river too.
