Gold Flag Tour Disneyland Edition
Gold Flag Tours presents an unofficial tour of 55 attractions at Disneyland Park in Southern California.
Fun and interesting historical and background information, along with full-color photos, is included in playable Audio or Text modes for each of the selected 55 attractions highlighted within this tour app.
This app is designed to enhance the enjoyment of Disneyland attractions by illuminating some of its uniquely rich and interesting history.
This app is ideal for anyone visiting Disneyland who would like to listen or read tours while strolling through the park, waiting in line, or taking a break.
It is also ideal for anyone planning a trip to Disneyland who would like to listen or read tours in advance of arrival to the park.
The app runs on Apple iPhone (3GS and newer) with IOS (v 5.0 and newer) utilizing GPS-identified “Points of Interest” (POIs) for the 55 attractions that are pre-programmed into the tour.
When at Disneyland Park, tour content will be automatically detected by the app based on your iPhone’s proximity to any corresponding POI via your iPhone’s on-board GPS technology. When a POI is detected, a picture of the attraction will appear in the top portion of the screen, which can be selected by simply touching the picture to launch the tour.
Plus you always have control over where and when you listen to tour content because any POI can be selected at any time from the scrollable list of all 55 attraction POIs. You can ignore GPS-detected POIs, or launch them if you prefer to listen or read tour content immediately.
Simply press Play, Pause, or Restart to control Audio Mode playback, or simply toggle to Text Mode if you prefer to silently read tour content for any POI attraction.
In Audio Mode, POI tour content can be played through your iPhone’s speaker, or by using your iPhone’s headset jack. Using earbuds/earphones will keep audio playback clear, private, and with more volume control while still enabling you to hear ambient noise and conversations around you.
Purchasing this application will download the complete tour content for all 55 attraction POIs at once, which constitute a large amount of content. It is recommended that this application should be downloaded on a WIFI network before use at Disneyland Park since the large file size will be limited by cellular data networks.
Once installed, this application does not require a network or cellular data connection to operate, as all tour information is on board in the initial download.
Not every possible attraction at Disneyland is included in the app; only 55 popular attractions have been selected for inclusion in this Gold Flag Tour application.
