Using the City Expedition app select the routes with locations that you want to discover. The app helps you in the right direction to go and once you have finished the route you will get a reward!

The Nieuw Amsterdam City Expedition illuminate the city of Amsterdam in transition. Not planned from boardrooms of developers and policy makers, but made by people behind all those small and large initiatives in the city.

During this first edition of the City of New Amsterdam Expedition unleash the power of Amsterdam residents and their initiatives and see how far reaching is the impact of their activities. More than one hundred initiatives on Saturday, September 21 have their doors open. From 12:00 to 00:00 hours, visitors - from local residents to directors and students to officials - can see local bottom-up practices up close. During the expedition city you discover the versatility of all these initiatives, in their own environment, where they show what they are doing daily are: Working towards a better city.
