The Glos Guide for Journalists app provides students and journalists with a quick style guide reference, a catalog of tips from professional journalists, and a bookmarking feature that gives users the ability to store rules and examples from the style guide. Once the selected content is stored as bookmarks, the app generates a formatted PDF file that can be used as a study reference. Users can view the generated PDF in the app, send it as an attachment via email, or print it with AirPrint. The list of journalistic tips included in the application is a collection of tips written by professional journalists in the field and by journalism professors of various universities and organizations. Along with the tips, some of the authors also provide links to their personal twitter accounts that can be accessed by tapping the Twitter icon next to their names so that journalism students and other professionals can follow their stories.
