Glopho is a place for sharing and selling your news photos.

Glopho provides all photographers – amateur and professional – with a public space in which to share their news photos and a marketplace in which to sell them. It is an exciting and simple way to be part of the news. And you decide what that news is – local or international, serious or trivial – if you think it’s news then upload your photos and make it news.

The website and app allow you to follow your favourite photographers, comment on other photos, save your favourites and share any photo via Facebook, Twitter or other social networks. You can create a personalised news channel.

Glopho’s copyright promise also means that you will always remain the owner of the photos you share and we will always share any money we make from your photos with you – 50/50.

So this is how it works. Open the app and log-in or register if you haven’t done so already. Take your news photo or select one from the library on your phone. Tell us what it’s about – its title – and write a short caption if you wish to give us more detail about the photo. Add some tags so that it’s easier for others to find it in a search and then upload. You can then choose to automatically share it across other social networks if you wish.

You can now access all photo galleries including the ‘Latest’, your ‘Favourites’, and ‘Editor’s Choice’ galleries.

As a registered user you can now chose to ‘Follow’ other photographers in the app. You can also comment on others’ photos in the app.

And of course you can still take your news photos using the app and upload directly to Glopho.
