Application Description
NOOM lets you make someone's day. Give treats, drinks, & eats through your phone to surprise/congratulate/admire those around you. Gifts can be redeemed in Austin and Houston.
NOOMs are given in three categories: Treats, Beer, and Bar & Bites. You choose the category to send and the recipient chooses the rest. For example, a Treat NOOM may be redeemed for a cone at an ice cream shop or a breakfast taco at a cafe. You can recommend a favorite place for your friend to go, but they can always decide where they want to redeem. Send NOOMs to your friends in Austin and Houston now - more cities to be added soon. GIVING
1. Select NOOM recipient from your Facebook friends
2. Choose the NOOM category you wish to give
3. Enter credit card, write a message and send
4. Choose how you want to notify your friend. You're able to send a text, email or Facebook wall post. Friends who have already downloaded NOOM will receive a push notification.
Recipients don’t need an iPhone to receive a NOOM, NOOM works on any web-enabled phone.
REDEEMING
1. Click “Redeem” to view all of the places where NOOMs are accepted. Search merchants via the list or map view.
2. Select a Merchant to view their offerings and choose the NOOM category you want to redeem.
3. When you click "redeem," a one-time redemption screen will appear, show that to your server.
4. You can view a log of your redemptions in the bank tab by selecting "redeemed"
