Gibberish is a fun little app for word games. Just type in a sentence into the the text box at the top of the screen and choose the Gibberish type. The translated phrase will appear in the box below. You can also email the translation to anyone you choose.

About Gibberish:

Gibberish came about from listening to my sisters communicate in fluent pig latin. Not to be outdone I started using Izzle (snoop speak) and my mom laughingly asked if we were going to be using Double Dutch next. A little while later and I coded up Gibberish. Its fun.

Dictionary Type:

Currently you have three translations types to choose from:

Double Dutch:
In double dutch, vowels are pronounced normally, but each consonant is replaced with a designated syllable. For example: b becomes bub, h becomes hash, etc.

Izzle:
In Izzle all letters after the first vowel are replaced with the phrase Izzle.

Pig Latin:
In words that begin with consonant sounds, the initial consonant or consonant cluster is moved to the end of the word, and "ay" is added. Hyphens are added.
