This location app is about Ghost Towns, not haunted houses or scary stories you see on TV.
What's in it: Well over one thousand ghost towns in the United States only. More places will be added over time. This app provides a simple location point for all of them. Many have some brief history and some words about any remains that may exist. Some still have residents and a service or two and some don't. Some may be right on a highway and some may prove hard to find much of anything on location. Or the roads may not be passable. This completely new version has names, locations and notes from visitors.
Ghost Towns has a unique filtering system if you only want to find one place or several on the map.
The Ghost Town data is stored on your phone, so calling upon a website for information is not necessary. This is great for improving speed when you’re in rural areas or otherwise out of range for decent cell phone or internet access.
It integrates nicely with maps to display up to 150 points of interest on a map.
