We’re back with version 2.0 of our app – with a brand new flat design and lots of improvements in Explore search. We’ve added filters and the ability to search in any location no matter where you are.
We squashed a lot of bugs from version 1.0 and made the web-service blazing fast so you can enjoy Getlokal™ when you need it most – when you are out in the city searching for the next place to have a great meal/dance/beer/etc.
Why should you get-lokal?
• You know at any time when and where the coolest events are happening: parties, expos, concerts or theatre shows.
• You can explore or find on the map exactly what you’re searching for: clubs, bars, restaurants, theatres, museum, supermarkets, parks or cinemas.
• Reading place reviews will help you make informed decisions.
• You can start following places for easy reference
• Writing reviews and publishing photos from the places you visit earns you badges and chances to win prizes in Getlokal campaigns!
We are constantly updating the app with new features! And we need your feedback, so if you like the Getlokal™ app, rate it and write what you like most about it. If you would like to hear from us, write to us on m@getlokal.com.
Important: In order for the app to work and show you relevant places and events you have to allow the app to access your location. If you have accidentally set ‘deny access’ please go to Settings - Location Settings and turn on the location services for the Getlokal™ app.
