Application Description
Forgot to get stamps when you went to the Post Office? Can't remember to get shampoo when you go to the super market? Then this might be your solution!
When you need to be reminded about something based on your location and not a time, GeoReminder is the perfect solution. If you find Apple's Reminders application to be lacking in some areas, then we are here to help you out!
It's very simple, just add a location or two -- by searching for Points of Interest, an address, or a draggable pin -- then add reminders that will be triggered when you reach a location. Each reminder can also be annotated with a description and a category.
The best thing is, GeoReminders works in the background, so you don't have to worry about checking the application. When you reach one of the tagged locations, an alert will pop up.
Please note, even though the Application is compatible with iPhone 3G, background reminding will not work. This is because multitasking is not available on the iPhone 3G.

(The application is designed to be used when there is good GPS and cell-tower signal. The application is not designed for foot traffic. There is a 250 meter radius around the location that will count as entering the location.)
Disclaimer:Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. The nature of this application is to use more battery than normal because the GPS radios have to be on for longer and more constantly. If you are concerned about it, just turn OFF all your locations when you want to turn OFF GPS completely.
