In Hindu culture, Lord Ganesh is known as the Lord of wisdom and luck. It is widely accepted that praying Ganesh at the beginning of any new event would bring success to that event. Students pray him for the success in exams. Parents pray him for the success of their children and family. Entrepreneurs pray him for their success in business.

Traditionally, Ganesh puja(prayer) is performed using pasupu(yellow), kumkum(red), Akshintalu(yellow rice), incense and flowers.

This app provides you a simple way to pray Lord Ganesh in most traditional way possible. We wish you success in every new beginning.

Here is a basic tutorial on how to use the app:

Tap either bell once to ring it
Tap either deep(candle) to start the Aarati that will circle around Lord Ganesha three times
Tap the flowers underneath the idol to drop flowers onto Lord Ganesh.
Tap/swipe the kumkum or pasupu to sprinkle onto the Lord
Tap the agarabathi (incense) to light it. Tap again to stop.
Tap/swipe the akshintalu to toss them onto the idol.
Tap the musical note to get the option to select your own songs that you may want to pray with from your phone. Click Done! to exit from that screen and go back to the idol.
