Conway's Game of Life: Versus combines the traditional zero-player game with an all-new multiplayer game mode.

In sandbox mode, players interact with a multicolor game board to set up and playback complex simulations, or even draw on the board while the game is simulating. Simple and unobtrusive controls, a dynamically resizable board, custom playback rate, and a randomize board function create a stunningly intuitive and interactive experience.

In multiplayer (up to 7 players), one player interacts with the grid per step. Players take turns choosing a cell of their own to add, and a cell of their opponents to delete, or can abstain. The last player with live cells wins. The only change to the regular rules is cells are born with the color of most its neighbors, or remain dead if its neighbors are all different colors.
