This is a mobile app for the non-profit Family Support Foundation for Mental Illness. It's intended to be used to facilitate communication and interaction between people who suffer from Mental Illness and the people who treat/support those sufferers. In addition, it will be an more convenient way for people to learn about Mental Illness, to find easier ways to treat Mental Illness and to become a part of a supportive community by fostering relationships between patients and caregivers. The app will also function as a way for people to donate funds, volunteer time and resources to a non-profit organization.

In addition to the standard informational tabs that will allow users to learn about Mental Illness and FSMI, the app utilizes 5 native functions to make the app experience more interactive and different from the website experience.

- The Tell A Friend pages encourages users to write a recommendation to others and email or post it to their Facebook pages.

- The Your Story page allows the user to audio record their story for others to hear and be inspired by or just to use as a personal reminder to help them in their daily life.

- Your Photos encourages the user to upload their photos either by taking new ones with their camera feature on their phone or uploading ones they already have, they can email them or put them in the gallery.

- Notepad functions as a daily digital reminder where the user can jot down thoughts of the day, phone numbers or interesting information they've learned about Mental Illness.

- The Events tab is a place users can go on a regular basis to see what events and happenings FSMI is putting on, whether it's a fundraiser or a Walk a Thon or just an announcement of an online webinar or gathering, this is the place that will give them the info about those events.
