Dropbox Integration
Register for a free Dropbox account to be able to easily, and seamlessly view your own PDFs and images. This is perfect for international users. Simply drag a document into your Dropbox folder on your desktop computer and the document will instantly be available in FS Kneeboard 2.
IFR/VFR Charts
Access to almost 200 IFR En Route and VFR Charts
Plot Your Course
Plot waypoints and course lines on top all of the above-mentioned charts
Weather Data
TAF/METAR
Download TAFs and METARs for over 12,000 airports worldwide. The last 10 airports you search are automatically kept in a list for easy retrieval.
Weather Radar Data (U.S. Only)
Search an airport in the Approach Plate tab, the TAF/METAR tab or the Radar tab and FS Kneeboard 2 will automatically find the closest radar station to that airport and display the radar map. There are also 13 regional radar composite images as well as a national composite image.
Satellite Weather Data
Works similarly to the Radar tab, but also has limited international satellite images as well.
Winds Aloft (U.S. Only)
FS Kneeboard 2 offers an interactive winds aloft viewer. Simply drag the small airplane icon up and down to display the winds aloft information for the selected altitude.
Surface Winds
Search an airport and FS Kneebord 2 will display a calculator that tells you the crosswind and headwind components for that airport based on the current METAR.
AIRMET/SIGMET/Prog Charts (U.S. Only)
Displays nine different AIRMET/SIGMET weather advisories and prog charts for the U.S.
