Friendura is a fun social application for messaging and sharing updates and photos with your friends and family. It replaces SMS and works through your existing Internet data plan and allows you to chat with friends for free (other than any applicable data charges).

How can I find my friends on Friendura?
You can find friends by adding their telephone number or searching your phone book. With your consent, an SMS notification is sent by Friendura to your friends who are not yet on Friendura, telling them that you have added them and inviting them to join Friendura.

What are the checkmarks next to my private messages?
The checkmarks help you know whether your message has been sent and read. One checkmark means they have been successfully sent and two checkmarks means the message has been read by your friend.

Can I chat with a group of friends on Friendura?
You can share text and photo updates on the Friendura News tab, which all your friends can see and comment on. We think this is a fun way for you to update friends with your latest news.

How do I share photos with friends on Friendura?
Go to the News tab and click the share icon to share photos (or text updates) with friends. Your friends will see these updates in their News tab or by visiting your profile.
