Free2Work is ground central for the modern-day abolitionist movement on iPhone and iPod Touch. Free2Work promotes transparency by rating a major company or brand based on its efforts to address the issues of forced and child labor through out its supply chain.

With Free2Work, consumers can scan a product’s barcode to see whether a company has effective policies in place to address and remediate for the use of forced or child labor in its supply chain. After extensive evaluation, Free2Work grades companies on a scale of “A” to “F”. Easily browse through the list of various industries to see which companies Free2Work has rated, check out the latest industry relevant news, and learn what labor abuses are most prevalent in each industry. Instantly share this information with your friends through social media. With the Free2Work app you can participate in the research process by scanning a barcode and inputting information about that product which will then be sent to the research team and used in the evaluation process. You can also scan products to get fun factoids about that industry: the more you scan, the more you learn!

It’s never too late to start making smart purchasing decisions. Ensure the products that you buy each day are not perpetuating forced and child labor.
