由香港中文大學食品研究中心創立,並獲香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助及食物環境衞生署支持的食品成分資料庫已於 2007 年 7 月正式運作。資料庫為香港首個致力為本地食品業(尤其中小企業)提供詳盡的食品成分參考資料和技術支援之資料庫,藉以協助業界配合擬議推行的營養資料標籤制度。

資料庫將透過網站、宣傳海報、小冊子、不同的工作坊及研討會等渠道,提供有關營養資料標籤制度的最新資訊,藉以增加本地食品企業及公眾對營養標籤的認識。

About Us

Sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Food Research Centre (FRC) has established the Hong Kong 1st local food composition database. Through the database, we provide a large amount of reference nutrition information on local commonly used food ingredients and products and technical support to assist the industry to comply with the current government regulation. We regularly conduct the various activities to enhance the general public awareness of the nutrient contents of food ingredients as well as nutrition labels of products by providing information on the labeling regulation to the industry and the public, promoting the importance of nutrition labels and encourage the public to use nutrition labels to choose food that are beneficial to health though technical seminars, workshops and brochure.
