Application Description
Fobz is an incredibly fun, animated puzzle with an unlimited number of increasingly challenging levels. Pit your wits against the machine in a superbly designed contest where the strategies you employ, rather than pure luck, determine the level of your success.
Fobz transforms your iPhone into an automated game box with a playing field and artistically crafted fobs, played simply by touching the screen.
Try to match each randomly-generated fob by color or symbol to a fob already on the playing field to build complete rows and columns. Discard any fobs you can’t (or don’t want to) play. Try to complete rows and columns of fobs to collect points and clear the board. When at least one fob has been played in every socket, the level is complete. Each level adds new fob colors or symbols, thereby increasing the difficulty in finding matches.
Try to keep the discard bin from getting full by playing a fob (replaces one discard), or by completing a row or column or discarding a bonus fob (empties the discard bin completely!).
The game ends when the player can neither play the current (or spare) fob, nor make a discard (because the discard bin is full).
It's not as easy as it sounds, but it's a fun, relaxing way to pass the time while waiting in line, at the doctor's office, at the airport or wherever.
The game gets more challenging with each succeeding level, and includes a hard mode for those desiring a more intense contest.
Fobz is easy to get into but difficult to master and so remains highly replayable over time, and addiction is a definite possibility for those who enjoy puzzle games where your logic and skill can be more than a match the luck of the draw.
