Fly Casting Analyzer(F.C.A)
F. C. A. is a neat piece of software that allows you to both visualize and analyze your fly-casting using the accelerometer on the iPhone.
Through using your iPhone in place of your fly rod, the F. C. A. simulation measures your casting stroke velocity and line hauling velocity and displays your results in a graph format from which it is easy to find out your current strengths and weaknesses.
F. C. A. will aid you in acquiring the key skills needed for fly-casting: power, acceleration and timing.
You can also save your results and compare your Double Haul with your friends!
Note: In order to simulate your haul you will need more than one iPhone (or iPod): one for each hand to simulate the fly rod and the fly-line. F. C. A. uses Bluetooth to connect the two devices.
