Application Description
Hurry up! The Germs are on their way to take over your body and destroy all the red blood cells! Take Arms and shoot the enemies with the lethal injection before it's too late!

FLU SHOT is a 2D shooter game with a pullback and release mechanism.
The game focuses on 6 characters all of which are ‘Germs’.
In the game, the user is equipped with an injection which is in a fixed position.
The injection is the users projectile to destroy the germs by simply pulling back, aiming and then releasing the injection at theirs target. Users are limited to 5 injections as indicated in the top left side of the game frame.
The germs are bouncing off of red blood cells. Each time a germ bounces off the blood cell, a deduction of ‘100’ will occur from the score. If a germ is hit and destroyed by the injection, an addition of ‘500’ will be added to the score.
In order to pass a level and unlock the next level, all germs must be destroyed before they disappear from the layout. A germ will make its way out of the layout after it has destroyed all of its red blood cells. If the germ exits the screen, a 'Level Failed' sign will appear. When all germs are destroyed a 'Level Pass' sign will appear with the choice to unlock the next level.
Beware, there will be Cross Bones bouncing on the stage too, to make sure you fail in your venture to destroy the germs. Hit one of the Cross Bones with the injection and the level will force a fail!
The scoring system will determine how you did in the stage. Depending on how well you scored in a level, will indicate if you receive 1 medal, 2 medals or a respective 3 medals for the stage you have just completed.
The first version of FLU SHOT consists of 48 levels.
