Application Description

Flipper is a MySQL client designed from the ground up for iPhone use. Writing queries and retrieving results from a MySQL database (version 4.1.0 and above) has never been this fast or easy.

Features include:

- Write complex sql queries and submit them over the network to MySQL databases
- SQL-iPad makes writing queries a snap
- Retrieve and save the entire database schema
- Once written, store queries to run again. Last results of each query are also saved.
- Name each database on the iPhone for easy organization.
- Queries and results stored on the iPhone, no connection needed to view previous results.

MySQL Communications Improvements:

Flipper now properly handles errors when converting MySQL data into UTF-8 for display on the iPhone.
Flipper more robust in handling connection failures with MySQL servers.
- Reports unsupported server versions (older than mysql 4.1)
- Reports other server connection problems like "Host denied access"

Startup Crash Protection:
If Flipper exits abnormally 3 times in a row, its next start will be at the top level screen, the list of server connections.
- this situation is usually caused by data (like an unusually large query result)
