Flickr on your TV is based on the top 5 iPad app "flickr hd" and when you don't have Flickr on your TV connected to an external display, it will give you all the functionality of flickr hd on your iPad! That's really cool too!
Flickr on your TV even works with the iPad 1! Apple's VGA and component/AV out cables are supported - these cables are sold by Apple for iPad only.

WIFI or 3G connection required (WIFI preferred) to access flickr. This product uses the flickr API but is not endorsed or certified by flickr. This app is based on the same code as our other apps flickr hd and Flickr Photoshow but with enhancements for AV out via Apple's cables. flickr account and minimum of 5 photos are required in your public photostream required - free flickr accounts can be created at http://flickr.com/ Apple TV and Airplay are not supported. Image may be slightly larger than your TV screen depending on the overscan of your TV. Please choose "Settings -> Video -> Widescreen: ON" for best effect. In 99.9% of cases, Flickr on your TV "just works" when you connect your cables.
