FitnessMeter is an advanced timing and measurement tool for fitness testing. It can be applied to many different kinds of activities and is aimed both at coaches and at individuals who want to test themselves.

FitnessMeter contains the following tools:

Flying sprint
Uses the camera to measure the time between two points, similar to two timing gates. Can be used to measure the top speed or the acceleration over 10-20 m.

Sprint and Shuttle
For sprints and agility tests. Functions like a starting gun plus a timing gate (through the camera). Can be configured to handle different types of tests like conventional sprint and 505 Agility test.

Vertical Jump
Records a short video where you can easily can measure the jumping height. You can use the the back or front (if available) camera. Alternatively, use the accelerometer and put the iPhone in your pocket.

Repetitions
Counts and times various activities like sit ups, push ups, step ups etc. You can choose to either place the iPhone on the side and use motion detection through the camera (front or back), or put the iPhone on yourself and use the accelerometer.

Beep Test
A configurable Beep Test that takes a picture at each lap, which makes it easy to keep track of the results.
