Find That Sound™ is THE app to determine from where a sound is coming – also called Sound Localization. Have you ever tried to figure out if that annoying, high-pitched, low battery smoke alarm chirp is coming from the front or the rear of the house? Is it there an appliance somewhere in your home giving off a high frequency squeal? Maybe a neighbor somewhere has a booming subwoofer or somebody in your neighborhood is taking target practice - just about any noise...This app will listen and aim you in the direction that sound is coming from.

Our ears are not always able to locate where a sound is coming from but, by using a combination of advanced signal filtering and analysis algorithms, Find That Sound™ will listen to the sound you're trying to locate and (most of the time*) aim you in the direction the sound is coming from!

* Please note, this app is experimental and we are constantly trying to tweak the code and improve its functionality. We don’t mean “experimental” as in it’s fake or doesn’t work…we mean “experimental” where, if you closely follow all our directions, most of the time we will be able to direct you in the right direction.
