Find My Child is a location based social help network that helps find missing children by distributing immediate alerts to nearby smart-phones when a child is reported missing in the local area.

During our research for this project, the police said time and time again that one of their biggest problems when faced with a missing child alert is getting rapid access to a suitable photograph. Find My Child helps solve this problem by ensuring that a recent photograph, along with a description and map of the incident can be flashed across the network within seconds.

When a child goes missing, every second counts, and so the aim of Find My Child is to help cover the gap between realising that a child has gone missing, and the emergency services getting involved.

We help put you back in control of the situation by empowering you to send out as much information about the incident as possible to a wide group of people who can help.

Find My Child is a subscription based service for parents however everyone can join the help network for free.
