Feedster is a simple, intuitive way to stay up-to-date with websites, blogs, and podcasts. It detects and subscribes to the RSS, RDF, Atom, and Podcast feeds for the websites you care about, so you don't have to check for updates manually.

Add a website, and Feedster will update itself with new articles and podcasts as they are posted. Feedster will learn for each site when best to check for updates, and will alert you to new articles and podcasts. When new articles or podcasts arrive you can easily see the new items with one touch.

You'll find browsing articles easy. Feedster keeps track of which articles you've seen, and will skip to the new articles that have arrived since your last viewing. When you view an article, its pre-loaded summary is presented instantly, while the full article loads in the background, balancing your time and your device's resources.

Adding a new feed is easy. Just put in the URL of a website, and Feedster will detect its feed. Or you can touch a feed link right from within Feedster's integrated browser window.

Unlike other Feed readers, Feedster is not a front end to a third-party service. That means Feedster won't ask you for a username and password, and will check for new feeds based on a feed's activity, or at your discretion, not on the schedule of a third-party service like other feed readers.

Feedster is also a first-class podcast player. It detect podcasts, downloads them automatically over WiFi, or manually over Cellular, and keeps track of where you are in each track. When a podcast is stale, Feedster will delete it, preserving storage space on your device.
