How far away are you from home right now? Which direction is it to downtown Tokyo?

Far Away is a small utility that lets you keep a list of the places you have defined and shows the current distance and direction to each. You can also tap on an entry to see a rendered road sign with the current distance and direction.

Places can be entered with a title and latitude and longitude and you can choose between six different road signs.

If you don't know the latitude and longitude coordinates (and who does?), you can simply enter the address and let Far Away look up the coordinates using Google Maps' geocoding service or Far Away can insert the coordinates of the current location.
