Face2Gene is a clinical decision support tool that enables real-time search of information related to genetic syndromes and related laboratory tests, based on phenotype information entered by user.

This app also uses FDNA's unique face detection engine to automatically detect dysmorphic facial features by analyzing facial photos captured by the iPhone's built-in camera and describes them in standard HPO terminology as part of the phenotype information.

* Face detection and recognition is performed automatically by advanced algorithms on FDNA's servers.
* Accuracy of the results may vary, depending upon the quality of the image, lighting settings and position of the face captured in the photo as well as upon the completeness and accuracy of other information submitted with the photo.
