This app was built for family members and friends that live alone. It provides a way to make sure that if they have a problem, you will be notified quickly. Instead of relying on products that require the user to press a button when they need help (think "I've fallen and I can't get up" commercial), isn't it better if someone is notified when they DON'T press a button? Introducing the EyeOn App.

* The user can set a schedule for the app to "check-in". They can set the days of the week, time of day…as many (or as few) as desired. For example, the app can ask the user if they are ok every hour, only in the mornings/evenings, or every other day.

* The user will receive a push notification at the scheduled time(s). This notification will ask them if they are ok.

* If the user presses "OK", then the alert is reset for the next scheduled time.

* If the user fails to respond, then the app notifies up to 3 "care providers". These care providers are notified by email (free), text message/sms (requires in-app purchase, the first 10 are included in the app price), or both.

* The care providers get an email, text message/sms, or both stating that the user has not responded, their last known location (email only), and the battery level of their phone (email only).

* The app notifies both the user and the care provider(s) if the in-app text message/sms credits reaches 5 or less.

When first installing, you will be prompted to complete the names, mobile phone numbers, and emails of the user and for each care provider. Then set a schedule for check-in times. 10 FREE text message/sms credits are provided on the initial download. Credits are mainly used if the user does not respond to the scheduled check-in within 30 minutes (i.e. in a potential emergency, one credit will be used for each care provider with a mobile number). A credit is also used the first time a Care Provider's mobile number is added (a confirmation text message is sent). The original 10 free credits are expected to last a long time in these circumstances. Text messages/sms can only be sent to mobile numbers. Emails are always free, and do not require credits.

Other great uses for this app:

- automatic check-in of friends and family that live alone.

- be alerted if your kids at college don't respond to the app.

- kids that should respond when they arrive home from school.

- a teenager out on a date that needs to respond at certain times of the evening.

Customer quote: "I feel my son is thinking about me each morning at 9am when my app asks if I am ok. I know help is always close if I can't respond for any reason. Very comforting."

***/// EMAIL ALERTS ARE FREE, BUT FOR EACH TEXT MESSAGE (SMS) SENT TO THE CARE PROVIDER 1 CREDIT WILL BE DEDUCTED. 10 CREDITS FOR $0.99, 25 SMS FOR $1.99 AND 50 SMS FOR $2.99 ///***
