The Energy Visualizer, or eVIZ, an interactive experience that takes you inside America’s energy system like never before.
This app features three unique animated experiences: Energy, Gas Prices, and Extreme Weather.
Breaking new ground in Congress, this app was developed by the House Natural Resources Committee Democrats, whose Ranking Member is Rep. Ed Markey (D-Mass) @NRDems on Twitter.
With eVIZ, you can now map decades of U.S. energy production - including wind, solar, coal, and oil with just the slide of a finger. Create head-to-head match ups between states to learn which are the most energy efficient.
Hurricane Sandy, western wildfires, and the great drought of 2012 – this app calculates the devastation of extreme weather events in both economic cost and lives lost.
Finally, how much money will you save at the gas pump thanks to improved fuel economy? The answer is just a slide away.
