For years, iTunes for Mac OS X and Windows supported shuffle-by-grouping and shuffle-by-album. Now, Euphony brings these features to iOS. With Euphony, users can queue up tracks - shuffled by grouping, album, or both - for playback from within Euphony or from Apple's iPod app.

Euphony enriches the following listening experiences:

• classical music, by preserving the order of movements within concertos, symphonies, sonatas, and more
• albums with tracks that "flow" into each other
• live performances
• "spoken word" tracks that need to be played in sequence

There's nothing quite like hearing music played in its entirety, as it was intended.

(Note: Your music library must be configured correctly in iTunes for shuffle-by-grouping or shuffle-by-album to work. In order to configure your music library, make sure that "grouping" and "album" metadata are filled in for the tracks you want grouped.)

Instructions:

*** Please note that in order for album tracks to play sequentially while "Group by Album" is on, "Group by Grouping" must be turned off. This will be fixed in the next update. ***

Launch Euphony and select a pool of tracks to shuffle using the picker wheel near the top of the screen. (If you choose "Manual Selection" you'll have to choose the tracks you want to hear using the "Select" button.) Tap "Shuffle" and Euphony will create a queue that's playable from within Euphony or from Apple's iPod app. To change the order of tracks in the queue, tap "Shuffle" again from within Euphony.
