Eortologio App was created for a simple but yet so convenient and useful reason; to remind you everyday , *and for any day*, which of your contacts stored in your device has his nameday or birthday!

HOW IT WAS BEFORE.
Someone had to inform you whose nameday is today. You could get that information from the radio, the internet or from some competitive nameday application with limited functionality. Then, you would search your endless contact list to find the contact with the nameday, call him to send your kind wishes and then back to step 1. But what if all that was gathered in one and only application? That would be SO COOL!

HOW IT IS WITH Eortologio App:
- NAMEDAYS
You just tap to open the application and then you are presented with an eye-appealing interface indicating the current date. Below, gathered in a sleek list, all of your contacts saved in your phone that have a nameday. But not only... right below, you have a list with ALL the names that have a nameday for that date! Tap any of your contacts to reveal all of the available communication options with them and reach them to wish them all the best!

At any time, you can tap the glass panel indicating the date at the top of the screen for a date picker to come up so you can navigate to any desired date of the year. Amazing!

-BIRTHDAYS
You asked for it and it's here! Now there's a special tab in the app for birthday reminding. When the app starts, this tab's badge icon is updated to indicate the number of your contacts who have a birthday. Select this tab and the already familiar interface comes up so you can get easy reference for your contact's birthdays, call them and grab the chance to get invited to that birthday party!!

- Intelligent first name matching. The application can recognize names saved with Greek or Latin (greeklish) characters. Even slightly mispelled names!
- Instant communication options. You just tap on the contact and choose to call them, sms them or send an email to them! Your wishes are just a tap away!
- Complete and valid nameday database with over 4.000 names. Every year the database updates itself (no user action required) to calculate the new date for Easter for that year and all the movable namedays based on that!
- *All* the nameday dates for every name. Based on the Greek Orthodox Church lists, the application *always* indicates if there's a nameday match for a contact in your phone. Multiple dates for multiple names (if any)!
- Ergonomic use of icons that indicate the "juicy" info. More info for less taps!
