Application Description
Entrance Music activates ringtones when friends are close by (about 50-100 meters or about 164 - 328 feet). After the ringtone plays, a compass will guide you to each other.
Have your friends marvel at your personalized music when you enter the room.
Record and download new ringtones.
Entrance Music also keeps track of who, when and where you met your friends.
Entrance Music sends status messages to approaching friends in case you are are late for an important meeting and can't talk now. Post reminders to yourself in case you don’t want to forget something when you met a specific friend.
Add friends in person by holding your phones together for a few seconds or through facebook using your iPhone.
Project who you are with Entrance Music.
Usage notes:
Range drastically decreases if concrete or brick are between the two phones
Entrance Music activates while in the background. Neither of the two phones have to actively look for their friends.
The compass that points to your friends isn't accurate when the phones are right next to each other as well as the first couple seconds when you turn compass on.
Common Uses:
Know where your friends are seated at a restaurant if your late and they are seated.
Know when your friends have arrived at a party.
Have a mini reunion with an old friend on Facebook that you haven't seen in years.
Know how much time you spend with your parents or kids.
Adding Friends through social networks:
Friends added through Facebook will not appear under "Friends out of range" until your first meeting.
Modes:
Compass GPS - GPS is turned on whenever you use your compass to find where your friend is or when a friend uses their compass to find you. The Compass is only available to use when both of you are close by. If you switch this off, GPS will not turn on for the compass.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Ninja mode - Having this mode on will prevent music and notifications playing on your phone. Entrance Music will still record when and where you met your friends.
Everything - Having this mode off will turn off GPS, alerting friends when you are around, alerting you when friends are around and will not record where and when you meet your friends.
