After performing multiple energy assessments, we saw the difficulties in keeping all the information needed for each home in a concise, organized manner. It was easy to misplace crucial pieces of information needed to create an accurate model of each home. Not to mention the number of extra trips back to the home in order to collect missing pieces of information. We sought to create something that will walk you through an entire energy assessment from start to finish, recording each and every detail. This app will allow you to easily inspect and record the information needed to model a home. Instead of referring back to multiple places to retrieve the information, we created something to contain all the data needed, in an organized fashion.

This application allows an energy auditor to easily input all the information needed to perform an energy assessment according to BPI standards. It has every aspect of the assessment listed in an organized fashion, allowing the auditor to thoroughly inspect the entire home without missing any pieces of information. It not only allows you to record all the visual information inspected, but also walks you through each test. This ensures that every aspect is covered in the most thorough way. At the end of the application, you are able to generate a report with the touch of a button. It will take all of your recorded information and compile it into an organized report. These reports are saved into a database that can be retrieved at any time. With another touch of a button, you can turn the report into a PDF and email it.
