encryptagram is a free iOS application built to facilitate secure communications between connected people through text, photo, audio, or video formats.

The main body of the encryptagram message (text, photo, audio, and video) is stored using AES(advanced encryption standard) 128bit encryption. The encryption key is shared only between you and your connection(s) and is only stored on the server during the connection process. The message header (i.e. the subject, sender, and receiver), are stored as clear text to facilitate search. Please be careful when adding data into the unencrypted subject field.

Common uses can be applied to any situation where electronic correspondence must be secured in transit and at rest (i.e. Dr./Patient, Attorney/Client, Business to Business). All encryption keys are permanently stored on the device, and all encryption / decryption algorithms execute locally on the device. encryptagram only holds the encrypted data on the servers along with the meta-data (subject, search tags, connection mappings/links to other users).
