Application Description
The EM/5 Scan app allows users of Power Assure’s EM/5 solution to scan the asset tag barcode on a hardware device and to instantly display live metrics and other device information right on their iPhone, iPod or iPad.
It is particularly useful in the data center to view metrics such as device utilization, power consumption, IP addresses, application and other information.
In addition, using patent pending technology, authorized users of the Web based EM/5 user interface can elect to receive details of the device you scan, and will see the same details you see, at the same time. Now you and your colleagues know you are looking at details of the same device – no manual input and no ambiguity.
To use the EM/5 Scan app, you must supply valid Power Assure EM/5 account credentials. On installation, the app is configured with demo credentials which allow you to retrieve details of a demonstration server by scanning any barcode or QR code.
