Moving Paintings are aesthetically gratifying, original 4-dimensional paintings for digital media, adding movement and time to create a new genre of artistic content. Some say watching a Moving Painting is like Bhuto, like watching clouds, or a journey in fantastic realism.

When should you watch a Moving Painting?

Anytime ...
When you want to see something gorgeous and inspiring
When you want to share a fun experience with a group of friends of any and all
ages. Just turn it on, and have fun showing each other what you discover, what you 'see' in the images.
When you want to teach colors to children - it's amazingly effective! Even very young kids enjoy Moving Paintings.
Before participating in a meeting or creative activity
If you are facing a problem that is challenging to solve
While waiting for an appointment
When you feel the need to relax
... Anytime!

Moving Painting Meditation Suggestions

Relaxation and meditation are effective ways to sharpen mental awareness and stimulate creativity. Watching a Moving Painting helps many people to easily enter a meditative state.

It is best not to talk while watching for relaxation or meditation. Sit comfortably, use full screen viewing mode on the player, and use headphones or earbuds to help block out distractions. Try watching with the sound on or muted to see which is most effective for you.

Some find it helpful to set a timer for 10 to 20 minutes when meditating with a Moving Painting. Be sure to use a timer or app that has a gentle ring so you are not startled at the end of the meditation.

Elemental Tao is made of 170 distinct images edited in succession and transformed into a rhythmic cinematic flow incorporating the five Chinese elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. The music uses different sounds, instruments, melodic and rhythmic motifs and fragments to represent each of the elements. Elemental Tao imitates life by overlapping and intertwining the motifs of each element thus coexisting in the Moving Painting as they do in life.

Sophia von Wrangell is an award winning artist and scholar whose works cross mediums and styles. 'Years of solitude and spiritual growth' were the catalyst for her most recent art-works, the Moving Painting™. Moving Paintings are an abstract synergy between photography, film, painting and music. Sophia has synthesized her mastery of visual arts and communication to create pieces that are free of cultural, racial and linguistic misunderstandings. At the heart of her work lies the conviction that anyone has the capacity to analyze, create and enjoy art if they allow themselves the freedom to believe it, and that the interpretation of art truly lies in the eye of the beholder.

Please note that Moving Paintings are intended for personal use only and not for public exhibition.
