eDrives is an app that supports you with the design of electrical drives. eDrives allows a first rough design of a drive system already in the concept phase of the system. Based on a few inputs it is possible to check if a drive can be realized under the given circumstances or, respectively, which performance parameters are demanded by the drive . The possibility to switch between different European and American units prevents errors in the manual conversion. Calculation results can be saved and sent via e-mail.
Version 1.0 supports spindle drives with belt level and / or gear transmission to the engine. Load weight and externally acting forces are converted via the intermediate mechanical elements to the torque acting on the drive. Accordingly, the conversion of feed speed and engine speed, and positioning resolution and resolution of the motor encoder are calculated.
