A diamond's e-Praise Cut Score (eCS) is a telling predictor of its beauty.
The eCS formula addresses only the diamond's geometry and is not a subjective "cut grade" such as those given by some gem labs.
A score in the small range of measurements indicated as eCS=1.000 shows that the cutter took special care to maximize the brightness of light returned to the viewer's eyes. We strongly advise against purchasing a diamond with an eCS other than 1.000, as we would regard it as improperly cut.
