EasyLogger is a lightweight but powerful GPS-Recorder which saves your position and easily runs in the background.
So you could use any Application you want while logging your position.
Save your tracks as GPX-Files, which are readable by a lot of famous programs like

- HoudahGeo

With only one fingertip you start the recording - then press the home-button to send EasyLogger to the background.
