Founded in 1877, Durban Girls’ College is an independent school with a Christian ethos for girls from Grade R to Grade 12 with weekly boarding facilities from Grade 8.
The pages of our Galleon 2011 magazine capture the warmth of our school and the fire that inspires – which was the prefects’ theme for the year. The design of the magazine promotes our Go Green policy, fortuitously embracing our ethos and our school colour.
Our strong foundation rests in our motto, Nisi Dominus Frustra – Without God, all is in vain.
