Application Description
Please note: Drinkr is available primarily in Denver currently. Other cities you will need to toggle bars and view Foursquare Bars. We're working to expand our database as soon as possible and if you or someone you know is a bar owner please contact us at info@thedrinkr.com to get your bar added to our database!
Drinkr is the premier resource for bar information, providing searchable data on liquor brands and prices, amenities, food menus, and happy hour specials and events. Our data is collected firsthand: we actually go to each bar rather than relying on Google searches. With an advanced search, users (or "Drinkrs") can combine the elements they're looking for (such as a bar that has a specific brand of Scotch whisky, free wifi, buffalo wings, and pinball) to find the nearest bar that meets their needs. Drinkrs can simultaneously check in via both Foursquare and Facebook, tag their friends, take photos of the bar and write reviews of bars. Plus, we compile listings of all the ongoing events (like a weekly karaoke, trivia, or pool league night) as well as one-timers like a Halloween party or a St. Patrick's Day special. Drinkrs can also search by drink costs - we include both regular prices and happy hour specials in the query to ensure it's the cheapest around.
Bar owners can sign up to manage their own accounts and take advantage of joining early with special opportunities.
Our initial release will only be in English, but we have completed substantial translation work into both Spanish and Mandarin.
We are starting in and around Denver with plans to expand through Colorado and the United States, Asia, South America, Europe, and to eventually go global.
