Dispatch: Action-Based Email
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
Dispatch makes it easy to act on mails even when you're on the move.
It lets you delete, defer, delegate, generate actions and even respond with ease.
RESPOND FASTER
-------
If you could get rid of an email by responding in under a minute, why not?
Store frequently used replies as snippets* and reuse them the next time you get a similar question.
Heck—we even say hi for you when replying an email so you can cut to the chase.
*Dispatch can import TextExpander snippets from email attachments. TextExpander fill-ins and date/time functions are not supported.
ACTION-BASED EMAIL
-------
Can't act on a mail until later tonight? Remind yourself to act when you can with the built-in iOS Reminders app or with a third-party reminder app like Due.
Link to an article you may want to read later? Send it to Instapaper.
Dispatch talks to 16 apps* so you can triage your reminders and todos to the right tools instead of having your inbox double up as your notebook, calendar, to-do and bucket list.
*Supported apps include: Safari, Chrome, 1Password, Maps, Google Maps, Instapaper, Pocket, Readability, Due, OmniFocus, Things, Calendar, Reminders, Asana, Drafts, Evernote.
PROCESS RUTHLESSLY, AND QUICKLY
-------
Get rid of junk and useless mails by swiping across them for options to delete, mark as spam or archive.
A longer swipe across the mail archives it immediately.*
*The long swipe action can be configured to delete or mark as spam instead.
IT'S OK TO MAKE MISTAKES
-------
Getting rid of mails is fun in Dispatch.
But in case you get too excited with the housekeeping, there's always undo support for the last destructive action.*
*You can undo the last delete, archive or mark as spam action for about 4 seconds
SWIPE TO NAVIGATE
-------
Switch accounts, reply, go back to Inbox by swiping left and right—no button-tapping required.
COMPATIBILITY
-------
Compatible with iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6 or later.
Supports IMAP-based email accounts; tested to work with Gmail, Google Apps, iCloud, AOL, Yahoo! and FastMail accounts.
Mail servers not listed above require additional configuration, or may fail to work.
LIMITATIONS
-------
Please take note of the limitations that Dispatch has compared with the built-in Mail app:
- No push notifications for emails (and no plans for them)
- No support for POP/Exchange-based email (and no plans for them)
- No support for attaching files or photos to new mails
- No search function
- No access to any folders other than the Inbox
- No access to drafts stored in Dispatch from other mail apps (drafts are currently stored locally and not saved on server)
- No support for S/MIME encryption
It lets you delete, defer, delegate, generate actions and even respond with ease.
