The DiscoverIt! USA Series of Apps are designed to be easy-to-use Reference or Travel tools that let you discover, locate, or go to a particular category of interest such as Golf anywhere in the USA. Users will discover and locate Golf Courses, Driving Ranges, etc. even in familiar areas, which they may not be aware of. Want to go to a Golf location? Just follow the Arrow on the screen! DiscoverIt! continuously points to the location and updates how far away it is...
It almost becomes an Educational game.
DiscoverIt! USA Golf locations are limited to the USA and the iPhone must be located in the USA to function properly.
Want to call ahead to acquire a starting time or green fees? Just tap the phone number and the call is made.
The “Next” button can be used to quickly find additional Golf locations at ever-increasing distances. An example would be if you want to locate a Golf Course, tap the “Find It” button and then the “Golf” button. The closest place to play Golf is displayed, and by using the “Next” button you can quickly scroll through all the courses around you and even locate a particular type you prefer. Then just follow the Arrow to go to it. Simple and very fast!
Want to know what’s over there in a particular direction? Just point your iPhone in that direction and tap the “What’s over There” button. Then the screen shows you what is closest to you in that direction. The “Next” button can then be used to find additional Golf locations or Places in that same direction but at ever-increasing distances from you.
The USA Golf app also lists: "Places" (Shopping Centers, Towns, Cities, Picnic areas, Campgrounds,etc.).
DiscoverIt! does not use confusing maps, instead, it allows non-technical people to easily find a location around them. Even your grandmother can use it!
Want DiscoverIt! to remember locations? Just tap “Save” and then later use the “Where Was That?” button to guide you back.
DiscoverIt! is not like most apps and doesn’t use the Internet or a cellular signal so it’s really fast, and power consumption is very, very, low. The user interface is sunlight friendly: with maximum contrast buttons and backgrounds that are easier to see in bright-light situations. DiscoverIt! respects user's privacy and does not snoop on them in any way.
