Application Description
FEATURE:
-DirectionNavi = Navigation + GPS LifeLogger.
There are many recordable GPS apps, but the higher the performance, it would be more complicated to use. We strived for easy and simple operation.
The most distinctive feature of this DirectionNavi is that it will be always shown on the map which direction user is moving. So even if you had no sense of directions, or having difficulties of map reading, this will make it easy for you to guide yourself.
FUNCTION OVERVIEW:
-An arrow indicator on the map shows user’s exact current moving direction in real-time navigation. (Where the iPhone is facing)
Even when electronic compass were affected by any stray magnetic fields or metal objects, this device can still detect your facing correctly because its availability to adjust current status by user’s moving direction and speed.
-It is easy setting up the route up to 8 different points along the way to the destination (Goal) point. Path is displayed in red line up to that point. With this function, user will not risk of getting lost while heading to the destination.
(To show the menu, drop a pin using “pin icon” in navigation bar, then tap on disclosure button.)
-GPS logger, taken photos, movies, text memos, tweet, voice recording messages, and video footages of drive recorder appear on the map and will be recorded as log.
These logs can be accessed and displayed onto the map at anytime.
(In log display interface, tap the disclosure button located on right side)
-Available to record GPS logger as a background.
When the background is in use, elapsed time will appear on the icon badge.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
-GPS logger’s movement direction will be displayed as animation on the map.
Displayed as: blue for northern direction, green for southern direction.
-Search by address and shops.
User can specify the search by following types: Convenient stores, Café, Restaurants, etc..
-Simplified path finding to destination.
-Distance and speed units are supported: mile and km.
-Function of Drive recorder
Record only video footage, no audio will be recorded.
Size and its placement of screen display can be adjusted by double tapping.
To save a movie, go to menu and select save; start point will be set at thirty seconds before, and then will record until at least twenty seconds after the event. The recording will automatically stop at a certain number of seconds.
In other words, movie will be saved for at least fifty seconds of length, video beginning from thirty seconds prior to pushing the save button.
Because of the technical specification, a movie file might save as two split data.
Stopping the drive recorder while it’s in save mode will save and exit immediately.
When [Drive Rec. Crash Auto Save] setting is set to on, it will detect the specified impact and automatically save the video footage.
As on going development, DirectionNavi is installed with “Eco-meter display function” (accelerometer) which can be viewed in a graphical meter of rapid acceleration and rapid deceleration.
-Select walking as your “Travel Mode” setting, Calorie Count of walking (1.24-4.34 mph) and jogging (4.97-12.42 mph) will be recorded in a local log.
DirectionNavi will function properly only where GPS is installed and in a reasonable GPS signal reception environment.
Please do not use this app while driving a motor vehicle.
