Dictionarium is a free online encyclopedic English dictionary. The app brings GNU Project's publication of the Collaborative International Dictionary of English (CIDE), to Apple mobile platforms in fully searchable form.
Dictionarium's improved features include:

- Instantaneous viewing facilities, dictionary stored in-app for instant lookup even while offline
- 'Word of the Day' button

The GCIDE Dictionary was derived from the Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary and from WordNet, a semantic network created by the Cognitive Science Department of Princeton University under the direction of Prof. George Miller.
